Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS)
Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) is forms of RTK differential correction that is done using a 3G modem and base station network. This means that instead of using the traditional base station and radio to send correction data to a rover, data is sent using the internet to a 3G modem. Most of the modern GNSS receivers come with a built in 3G modem to received internet connection.
WSCORS services now gives you instant access to RTK positioning services in the Maldives using a growing network of continuously operating reference stations (CORS). The mount point closest to your location can be selected based on your project to received the correction service.
